Y Cartref is the Welsh word for 'home', which is exactly what you will find here on your relaxing Welsh retreat.
Nestled in the provincial village of Caerwedros, less than 2 miles away from the sleepy cove of Cwmtydu, Y Cartref is a walker's paradise. The private, two storey annexe comfortably accommodates two visitors, and of course your furry friends. This bright and refreshing space features a fully enclosed garden, and is perfect for welcoming you home after a long day of clean air and exploration. Countryside quietness and restful mattresses allow a peaceful night's sleep, leaving you well-rested for daytime travel.
The Ceredigion coastal path, decorated with emerald headlands, fairy tale woodland waterfalls, and a sea view like no other, offers days of adventure for keen walkers. If walking leaves you tired, you can always travel to one of our local seaside towns, such as New Quay or Llangrannog, to enjoy a day at the beach and a traditional fish and chip supper. You might even catch sight of a dolphin or seal if you're lucky!
For local travel advice, car lifts to any spot on the coast, or a dog-sitting service if you fancy a day to yourselves, Trudie is more than happy to accommodate. Having been a village resident for nearly 15 years, Trudie is keen to share her rich knowledge of the local area, along with this beautiful and newly-built holiday space. If you have any questions about the area or rental, she is more than happy to be of assistance.
We look forward to receiving your booking and welcoming you to Y Cartref, your home away from home.
